There are a lot of mediators out there, but few who understand organizational issues and can fit the mediation work into the workplace context. Jamie Notter, in addition to his master's degree in conflict resolution, has been trained as a mediator (more on background here). To see other project examples, click here. In addition to mediation, we offer speaking, training, coaching, consulting, and facilitation. Learn more here. Although all conflicts have a “system” component to them, sometimes two people on the team simply need to sit down together and work things out. If they can’t do that on their own, then we can provide a simple and effective mediation process. After initial interviews with each party, the facilitator brings both parties together for an initial mediation session. IN some cases, the session includes both joint conversation and separate “caucuses” with each party. By the end of the session, the focus of the session is on developing some kind of agreement about how the two parties will work together in the future. The session usually takes no longer than three hours. The facilitator is available to each party in the weeks following the session for follow up questions or advice. Call Jamie Notter at (240) 603-7693 (or email) for more information. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
