The client list is, after all, just a list. But if you go to our corporate materials page you can see our capabilities statement that actually has brief descriptions of some of the work we've done, as well as some references.

Of course, you can also just call/email Jamie to set up coffee or lunch.

"I have witnessed my staff grow professionally as a result of this work, especially my younger, right-out-of-school staff, and that has been a very gratifying side effect of our work with Jamie."

The essence of Notter Consulting's work is about the human side of organizations--and that can mean any organization. We have done work in corporations, local government agencies, federal government agencies, charitable nonprofits, and nonprofit associations.

That being said, we have developed expertise in associations over the years and most of our clients are trade associations and professional societies. You can see a complete client list here.

Testimonials

Clients say it better:

I need my team to push back and challenge each other (and me) in a supportive, productive way--they started to do that at our retreat. I'm also happy to report that the progress we made at the retreat didn't stop once we came back to the office. The insights we gained have now become ingrained in the culture of the group. I see the benefits of that retreat on an ongoing, regular basis.

In essence, due to his instruction, we were able to develop our own tools to keep the communication process effective. His guidance continues to resonate within our meetings. Working with Jamie has made us a better-managed organization with the ability to respond quickly and focus our attention on issues and activities that impact the bottom line.

It has been my practice to have Jamie come back and do regular "check ups" with us so that we don't fall into bad or harmful habits of interacting with each other that get in the way of our work and relationships. I have witnessed my staff grow professionally as a result of this work, especially my younger, right-out-of-school staff, and that has been a gratifying side effect of our work with Jamie.

His follow-up included support structures that have aided my ability to maintain the momentum. While the tips and techniques were useful, it is the synergy between Board and Staff that he helped generate that has been the most powerful legacy.

Usually, I’m known to be pretty skeptical about some of these touted leadership improvement techniques, but being involved in the process from the start, understanding the CEO’s commitment and support of these initiatives, and witnessing, firsthand, the measurable improvement that these methods have already garnered, has made me a believer.
